Bible Text: Mark 2:13-17 | Preacher: Doug Fell | Series: Mark

“…Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners”
In this passage, Jesus calls Matthew to follow him. Despised at the time for being a tax collector, Matthew seems an unlikely candidate, yet Jesus mercifully chooses him. This should bring about a more truthful view of ourselves and our desperate need for God.
