What God Wants for Us

But godliness with contentment is great gain.
– 1 Timothy 6:6
In this passage Paul is telling Timothy – und us – to hold fast to what is unshakable especially during difficult and uncertain times, rather than the ‘shakeable’ things of the world. He encourages us to put our hope in God who will provide for our every need and from where true contentment comes.
