Judgment and Hope
Bible Text: Micah 2:1-5 | Preacher: Quentin Still | Series: Who Needs Christmas?
Just like the nation of Israel we to have sinful corrupted hearts that rebel against God. We to harbor covetousness, greed, selfishness and in essence steal from God just like the corrupt leaders of Israel. As a result God pronounces through Micah the charges and the coming judgement of the nation. In this darkness we find the light of Christmas shining through. God who is faithful to his covenant promises to his people is going to send a Shepherd- King to set free his faithful remnant from exile and
Gather them to himself. In this we can truly rejoice and saviour Christmas.
