We often start the Christmas story half way through, in the manger in Bethlehem. It’s like starting a movie hallway through, you miss  what actually happened and the  full weight of the experience is lost. Christmas is birthed in a love story marred with betrayal and rejection which reveals the beauty and magnitude of Gods’ love, grace and pursuit of a broken world. The story begins in Genesis so let’s start Christmas there.
