How will church work during Covid-19?
The Big Picture
A word on the moment
Our desire as a leadership team is to honour Scripture and the directives of the government in this crisis, as we continue to grow in the Gospel as a community.
In keeping with the spirit of what our government is trying to accomplish, we feel it is necessary to pause our centralised gatherings during this time and move everything online. We know that social distancing is key in slowing down the speed at which this virus spreads and recognise that it is important in flattening the curve. Loving our neighbour at this time includes social distancing, and we are privileged to live in an age where we can care for and love each other online.
As such, we will not be meeting for our usual Sunday or mid-week gatherings, but will make best use of online communication tools and sharing of resources as we continue to grow in faith as a community.
Church at Home
We want to encourage everyone who calls PCC their Spiritual home to tune in together on Sundays at 9am on our online channels.
Church isn’t cancelled, it’s now in your own home!
How will it work?
Queue the Sermon video and Worship
We prepare online sermon videos every week over this period, which will go live on Sundays at 9am. Get your family together and watch the sermon online!
We’ve put together a Spotify playlist of some of the songs we sing together on Sundays. Use this to worship God during this time!

Use the Kids Church Resources
If you’re a parent, we are preparing content that will help you run a simple discipleship programme with your kids! It’s just like Kids Church, but at your own home! We will update this content every week to help you with this.
Social distancing is providing us with a unique opportunity to do Church at home with our kids in a more meaningful way. We would love our families to go deeper in Jesus together during this time.

We’re trusting in Jesus to help us lead and love people around us through this time. Let’s be praying for God to open our eyes to the needs around us, and give us power to serve people in sensible and helpful ways.

Community Groups At Home
Our Community Groups will meet online from their own homes.
Our Community Groups will continue meeting at their regular times during the week, but all groups will meet online by using Google Hangouts or other good options of connecting together online.
During these times, you can share updates on how you’re doing, continue unpacking the Bible texts as they relate to our current sermon series, and pray for one another.
